Natural materials were thoughtfully layered throughout the project to create both contrast and functionality. Decorative Mexican beach pebbles add texture and visual softness throughout the landscape, while a separate two-part dry creek feature built with granite cobblestone helps direct runoff and support groundwater recharge during rain events. Drip irrigation paired with a smart Wi-Fi irrigation controller allows the landscape to thrive efficiently while minimizing water use and long-term maintenance.

The transformation also extended beyond planting design to completely reimagine the property’s sense of privacy, security, and presence. A custom electric gate, modern fencing, architectural columns, integrated lighting, and a secure parcel mailbox created a stronger visual identity for the home while adding everyday functionality and peace of mind. The driveway extension further improved usability and balance across the front of the property.

Beneath the mature trees, the front yard now feels calm, grounded, and intentionally designed to be experienced rather than simply passed by.
